Get outdoors with your little ones! Join us for our popular Forest Playschool programme where you can explore our purpose built forest school area and take part in some outdoor activities, from crafts to bug hunts! Suitable for ages 1-5. Block bookings for a term are available during term time and one off taster sessions are available in school holidays.
Forest Playschool is an outdoor experience for you and your child to explore, discover, and get close to nature and takes place in our purpose built nursery area of woodland called The Realm.
Old/scruffy clothes are best as we get quite muddy in some sessions! All sessions are outdoors in almost all weather conditions – wellies or sturdy shoes are a must. Play in the mud kitchen and swing in the hammocks then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate around the fire with your forest school friends. Allergies and food requirements are catered for just let staff know before the sessions.
To book your space go to tickettailor.com select the date and time you wish to book. Accompanying adults and babes in arms do not need tickets.
You must sanitize or wash your hands on arrival and before leaving West Boldon Lodge (hand sanitiser dispensers are available in the woods and next to reception).
The Lodge will be open to use toilets, baby change, breast feeding and uses of our Playschool room at the start of sessions. Please come dressed to be outdoors, we advise sturdy footwear and long trousers.
There will be no food or drink on sale.
There is car parking on site, but we recommend taking public transport if possible. Do not use just the postcode in Sat. Navs as it often does not bring you to the right place. For directions visit https://tiny.cc/findwbl.
